The head of a global manufacturing company replaced three members of her senior team. She felt ‘new blood’ might shake up the traditional company and spark positive change. The new executives tried to implement a lot of change quickly, which was interpreted by more tenured team members as disrespectful of the culture and critical of their own competence. We worked with the entire team to resolve misunderstandings, and create a change agenda that honored the culture while changing key processes and systems.
